Terrier Tuesday!!

It's just been one of those days. 

One obstacle after another, my car broke down & once we fixed it, something else immediately broke. 

Now I am sitting on the couch with a little bosty snuggled up to me.

There's no where else I would rather be.

Terrier Tuesday, Play time.

I was playing with Alabama the other day, and I think I was having more fun than she was!
She makes these crazy sounds when she plays, and it makes me laugh so hard!
And is totally obsessed with this Frisbee.
She takes it everywhere with her, I find it in her kennel, in my bed, and I find myself tripping over it more than I'd like to admit!
I love this little girl, and our daily play sessions.

Summer Time Terrier Tuesday!

I realize that I have missed about 1,000 Terrier Tuesdays, but Alabama and I are back.

And better than ever.

I thought I would overwhelm you with cuteness, and black and white puppy love. 

My aunt/uncle have border collies, and although Alabama might be 1/4 there size, 

She is convinced that she is one in the same. 

She grew up around these babies, and one of them is like her honorary Momma. 

She always gives her the ball, and protects her if another dog gets too rough. 

Alabama has these girls wrapped around her little paw.  

It's way too cute, always like a family reunion when we come around.

Terrier Tuesday!

Hello! I am excited about this week's Terrier Tuesday! A photographer friend of mine, Allyson Moyes, was over and took some really fun photos of Alabama and I.
She is an amazing photographer, and I feel pretty lucky that she took our photos!
Anyway, I hope you enjoy!

It's Terrier Tuesday!

How is it only Tuesday?!
I feel like it should be Friday already, don't you?
Work has been brutal the past couple of weeks. 
I have had the same schedule for more than a year, and I can't get accustomed to it.
Every morning, at 4 am, my alarm goes off, and I think, 
'is someone paying a cruel joke on me?
...because it's not funny.
You'd think that after a year, I would be somewhat used to this routine, but I'm not.
It's so rough!
Argh! Can anyone relate??
Any Suggestions?
I really think it's time for a change, I need to find a way to work for myself!


Anyway!
I thought since I haven't done Terrier Tuesday in awhile, that I would make up for some lost time, and post a few photos from the past couple of days!
Spring has finally come around, so I have been hiking loads, and spending a lot of time outside.
I really hate the heat, so I have been trying to soak up these days that are 70-80 degrees.

I need to frame a couple of these!

Sleepy time Terrier Tuesday

Hello! I know it's been awhile since I have posted a Terrier Tuesday here on The Bears and the Bees, and I thought this was a perfect way to dive back in.

I don't know if all Bostons do this, but Alabama is a burrower.
I mean, really, this little girl will dig and dig until she is able to dissolve her little body with covers.
Often she will keep her little nose out so she can breathe, and make sure everyone can hear her snores.
But can I be candid for a minute?
I get a little jealous of her sometimes. 
I will see her bundled up in a pile of clothes, or under some pillows...
And I think... if I could get even half as cozy as she is, I would have the best sleep of my life. 
But alas, I am full size person, not a 15 pound ball of pup.
So I guess I will have to settle for my bed as my cozy spot.


After I noticed her waking up, and emerging from her little cave in my bed,
I said the 'W' word.
(yes, that means 'walk', but shhhh! don't let her hear you say that!)
She sat straight up, and was rip-roarin'-and ready to roll!
I love how excitable she, and most dogs are.
One simple word gets her right out of bed...
Like she has never been so excited in her life!


It's the simple things in life that make it so sweet.

Terrier Tuesday

Hey guys, I am got really distracted last week and sort of forgot about Terrier Tuesday, so I am doing a big collection of photos this week.
Yesterday I saw the weather forecast for the coming week and knew that we had to get outside for one last solid play session.  It's supposed to rain for the next ten days!
Yuck!
So we went outside and played with the Frisbee for a solid 30 minutes, and by the end, she was pooped!! ...laying all over the grass and smiling from ear to ear, can you see it??

I  know I haven't posted any project photos lately, 

but I am working on some new little paintings to be made into cards, and prints,

this is a little preview... hope you like!  

(these babies will be for sale when I have a set of 5 prepared.)

OOOHH!!! I love this weeks Terrier Tuesday!!

In the past 3 years I have never used my fire place.

I honestly don't even know how to turn it on(it's propane)!!

So a few months ago, I asked Ryan to gut it out for me...

And since Alabama likes to burrow in everything, this personal little cave was a perfect little haven.

What do you think??

Terrier Tuesday

Hello! 

I am happy that today is Terrier Tuesday. 

It's been a rough, long day for me today, 

and I am really glad that it can come to an end with some photos of my cutie dog. 

A new leader at my work is wearing me out, and school was brutal.

ANYWAY-time for the cutest pup-pictures you have seen all day.

Lovey Dovey Valentiney Terrier Tuesday

Get ready for an extra special Lovey Dovey Valentiney Terrier Tuesday!

I made this little paper heart necklace for Alabama, and left it on her all day.

She didn't seem to mind, or even notice it.

Plus-it made me really happy.

I hope everyone had as such a nice Valentines day as I did!

Since Ryan and I both had to work today, and didn't want to get crazy with dinner reservations, or racing to the movies, we just stayed in.

I made tacos, and a Lemon Cream Pie.

Sometimes, good food can make such a difference.
