Last weekend I ran a 5K race.  I know it's not a lot, but for someone like me who despises running, this has been a huge accomplishment to train and run for this little guy. 

#34-Take a roll of film!!

This was so fun!!

My home is FULL of vintage and film cameras.

I thought it was only fitting that I reunite myself with my dear old friend. 

I pulled out my fish-eye camera and snapped 3 rolls!! 

Ryan and I and had so much with it and we have littered my apartment with photos. 

If you have any film cameras around, USE THEM UP!!! 

You will enjoy it.

#31-PICK FRUIT!!!!

OH MY GOODNESS!!
This is something I have always wanted to do, and was able to do it TWICE this summer!
I love gardening, and being outside, and watching how things grow, and until I am able to have land where I can grow fruit trees and stuff, this is the next best thing.
I am so lucky to live in this area where only 30 minutes away there is a huge agricultural area that is stocked full with fields of pick-it-yourself fruit trees.
My dream.
I am feeling so lucky to be a california girl!

Terrier Tuesday.

I know it's been awhile, but I thought I would finally post a Terrier Tuesday.
Wait... today is Tuesday, right?! All of these summer days just blend together and fly by!
One of my favorite things about Alabama is the spots on her chest and little belly.
I often make jokes that she is part dalmatian, of course- I'm not fooling anyone.

Terrier Tuesday, Play time.

I was playing with Alabama the other day, and I think I was having more fun than she was!
She makes these crazy sounds when she plays, and it makes me laugh so hard!
And is totally obsessed with this Frisbee.
She takes it everywhere with her, I find it in her kennel, in my bed, and I find myself tripping over it more than I'd like to admit!
I love this little girl, and our daily play sessions.

Green Thumb.

One of my biggest joys in my daily life is working in my 'garden'. It's teeny, tiny, and miniature. Did I mention that it's small?? I do what I can with the limited space that I have, and I am such a proud gardener of the little space!  I feel like a little kid with show and tell, every time someone comes over, I grab them by the hand and drag them outside, saying 'Look over here! Look a tomato! Smell this mint! Taste this basil!'  

I know.

It's embarrassing. 

But I am so proud of all of the work I have done! 

Fair enough, right?!

Anyway, I thought I would do a little show and tell with you all!

I also grew an avocado pit!

It has taken about 5 months to get from solid pit, to a little tree about a foot tall. 

#30 Go to the Mountains

#30, Go to do the Mountains on my Summer To do List. 

A few weeks ago I brought a friend to my home town in the mountains for a weekend trip. I just wanted to show some of the photos with y'all! We have so much fun splashing in the lake, and hiking, and catching up, and just spent time laughing.

There is something about breathing that mountain air that seems to just clear your head.
