Firsts.

Okay-since I haven't been doing much since I graduated, I started making a lot of crafts.  Just to keep me occupied, and keep my hands busy!
This weekend I am doing my very first crafts fair! It's a really small one, and I don't have high expectations, but I am really looking forward to hearing some feedback about what I am making, and the reaction people have to it.
So far, I have 15 crowns, 18 headbands, 20-something pairs of earrings, and a few lavender sachets.  I am planning on making quite a bit more before Saturday just so I can be prepared.
Here's what I have so far, what do y'all think?

(I will post more photos of all of it, when its all ready!)

Summer time fruits.

Alabama looooves fruit.
Honestly?
She loves anything she can eat. For such a little dog, she is sort like a trash can.

Will devour anything edible.

Peach Salsa!

So last year my mom gave me a book about canning, and preserving yummy recipes, and lets face it- I have had a LOT of free time on my hands, so among other recipes, I made a peach salsa.
And lets just say.
It was amazing. So bright and colorful, and fresh! I made two huge jars of it, and between myself and the bear, it's all gone.
I'm planning to make some more and preserve it with legit canning techniques so I can give it as gifts and keep it for longer.
Every summer my aunt and uncle grow massive amounts of tomatoes, and these tomatoes are so delicious.
Seriously?
The best.
Ever.
Like so good that I wait year round.  When I see the yellow tomatoes, I grab with no remorse and essentially sort of hoard them...
oops!
Anyway-tomorrow night we are using my canning book to make homemade marinera sauce.
I'm not going to lie, I am pretty pumped.
Homemade sauce, made with homegrown tomatoes.
Enough said.

(photos will follow!)
